Beloveds ~

This message will be brief—a new poem to welcome the turning of the year. And what a year it has been!

However these words find you, I pray they bring you peace.

Sowing in Tears

Set your griefs upon the altar
of the coming year.
May every tear release.

Did you think you had wept enough?
Did you imagine an end to the storms?
Not until the people’s suffering
is relieved, when the false kings
throw down their crowns
and true leaders rise in millions
from roots in holy ground.

Your tears, dear one, are the rains
that carry sun to soil
and make the fruit for all to eat in joy.
Never doubt the power of
the rivers that pour from your love.
Never doubt your grief
will win the day.
