Right here in this place words
open and close all day long like flowers,
though you cannot see them.
Try, and you will find
only solid lines.
But if you put your cheek
to the petals of each blossom
you can feel
the breeze of its breathing.
Enter the spaces
where the curves of letters
leave room for you
and the sound of all
growing things gives way
to your voice.
Right here in this place: words.
Right here in this place: your voice.
